Guided tours for 10-year students, studying under Space Classes program, which is supported by the Department for Education of Moscow Governement, were held at IKI on February 22 and 25.

On February 16, 2023 Russian Science Foundation published the lists of winners of five grant competitions. Among them are the project led by IKI researcher and projects, which use the capabilities of IKI-Monitoring Center for Collective Use.

February 15-16, 2023 Center of Forest Ecology and Productivity of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosts a conference "Carbon in Ground Exosystems: Monitoring".

On February 6–10, 2023 IKI hosted the 18th annual conference «Plasma Physics in Solar System».

On the eve of the day of Russian science, Russian Academy of Sciences awarded the winners of the 2021 competition for RAS awards for young scientists and students. Among them are IKI astrophysicicts Andrei Semena, Ilya Mereminsky, Igor Zaznobin.

To get the values, researchers used Earth remote sensing data, selected ground-based observations, and models.

IKI is in the list of almost 200 winners.
